How to Make a Movable Donkey Paper Doll

What you need: 

• Movable Donkey Paper Doll template
• Hole punch
• String
• Crafting stick
• Crayons or markers
• Scissors 
• Paper fasteners 

Step by Step Tutorial 

Need a step-by-step tutorial for making this movable donkey? You are going to start by printing out the template. Then, spend time coloring the donkey.

Cutting out the donkey may be a little tricky for little ones because there are so many twists and turns. Be prepared to help if need be. 

Use a hole punch or whatever you have on hand to poke holes where indicated on the donkey. 

Take a crafting stick and take it to the back of the donkey. The craft stick is optional, but it does help the donkey have a foundation when you want to move it around. 

Use the paper fasteners to add the legs to the donkey. 

This is pretty simple, but it is also a great workout for little hands as it helps with fine motor movement. 

Now you will take the string and add it to the movable donkey, as shown below. 

You are going to make a small tie at the end. Make it semi-loose because the string needs to be able to move back and forth. 

Now you can move the donkey by making it walk with the popsicle stick or moving it around with the string. 

Either way, at the end of this craft, you are going to have a paper doll that provides hours of fun.
