You need a few craft items, and you’ll make this gingerbread man in no time.
How to Make the Craft Stick Gingerbread Man
What you need:
- craft sticks (five thinner and two wider)
- brown paper
- brown acrylic paint
- paintbrush
- black marker
- white chalk marker
- eyeshadow
- two black glitter halves
- glue stick
- pom-poms (pink, green, blue, and yellow)
- red silk ribbon
- pencil
- scissors
Step by Step Tutorial
Grab your scissors.
Cut a craft stick and start cutting it.
Paint each craft stick brown.
Keep painting the craft sticks.
The Body
Start gluing five craft sticks together to form a body.
Apply glue to the craft sticks you cut in half to the back of the body to make it sturdy.
Place one half on the upper part and the second half on the lower part of the body.
The Arms and the Legs
Our craft stick Gingerbread Man also needs arms and legs.
Apply glue to both halves of the thicker craft stick.
The arms will go on the side of the body.
Repeat the step with the two wider craft sticks you’ve cut in half.
These will be the legs. Attach them to the bottom.
The Head
Draw a circle for a head onto brown paper, and cut it out.
With a white chalk marker, draw a wavy line around the head as if it were icing.
Draw eyes and a mouth on the head with black marker and glue a pink pom-pom as a nose.
Take a Q-tip and add a slight blush to the cheeks of the Gingerbread Man.
In the same way, draw a wavy line on the ends of the thick craft sticks.
Glue the head to the body.
Glue multicolored pom-poms on the chest of the Gingerbread Man.
Grab a red ribbon and start making a bow.
Tie the red ribbon and cut off the excess.
Glue the red bow to the Gingerbread Man.
This Craft Stick Gingerbread Man will make the holidays even more jolly.
Don’t you love it?
We think it looks incredible!
You can make as many as you like with colored pom-poms and bows.
