How to Make the Craft Stick Cow Craft
What you need:
- paper roll (toilet paper or paper towel roll)
- one circle of cardboard (same size as the roll’s diameter)
- craft sticks
- hot glue gun (adult supervision required)
- paintbrush
- black craft paint
- paper (white, black, and pink)
- pencil
- scissors
- black marker
Step by Step Tutorial
Paint the craft sticks white. Let them dry.
Start with a paper roll and a cardboard circle that should be large enough to cover the opening.

Take the cardboard circle and apply hot glue around its edges.

Carefully press it onto the bottom of the paper roll to seal one end.

Grab the first craft stick and glue it vertically onto the paper roll.

Add more craft sticks, one by one.

Keep adding them, until they completely cover the roll. Now your cow has a sturdy body!

Dip a paintbrush in black craft paint and add a large cow spot on one side.

Turn the paper roll and paint another big spot on the opposite side.

Paint a smaller one below the more prominent spot to create a classic cow pattern.

Repeat on the other side, adding as many spots as you’d like!

The cow’s body is ready.

Cut out two white circles and two smaller black circles to make the cow’s eyes. Glue the black circles onto the white ones and attach them to the cow’s face.
You can use googly eyes as well.

Cut an ellipse shape from pink paper for the cow’s nose and glue it below the eyes.

Use a black marker to draw two cute nostrils on the pink nose.

Fold a piece of black paper in half, and draw an ear shape with a small flap at the bottom. Cut it out to get two identical ears.

Use the flaps to glue them onto the sides of the cow’s head.

And just like that, your adorable craft stick cow is ready to join the barnyard fun!

Kids just made the cutest farm animal ever!

Place it on a shelf, use it for storytelling, or as a pencil holder.

Have fun.
