Peacock is one of the most dramatic birds out there and we are going to try and make it justice with this Peacock Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft.
This lovely project is great for summer break.

While we kept it simple, this craft can really be “prettied” up. Ad sequin to the peacock’s feathers or other shiny materials and you will really make this bird shine in all of it’s glory.
How to Make a Peacock Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft
What you need:
- toilet paper roll
- blue paint
- green tissue paper
- scissors
- glue
- yellow and white paper
Step by Step Tutorial
The first thing you need to do is color the toilet paper roll in blue color (some brands actually have blue colors named peacock blue).
Let the paint dry, once dry punch two holes on one side of the paper roll for the string for hanging.
Thread the string through both of the holes…
…and tie it up.
Draw two big eyes and beak. Cut them out.
Apply a small amount of glue on the back of both eyes and the beak and stick them on the paper roll.
Cut long strips of tissue paper, if possible in different shades of green.
Add glue on one end of the strip and press it against the inner side of the toilet paper tube.
Older kids can also cut two legs a d stick the, on the paper tube.
All done. Peacock Windsock Toilet Paper Roll Craft Is ready for hanging and flying in the wind.
