How to Make the Paper Plate Cow Craft
What You Need:
- paper plate
- black (or other) paint
- cardstock in various colors
- scissors
- glue stick
- paintbrush
- black marker
- two large googly eyes
Step by Step Tutorial
You will need one paper plate to make one paper plate cow.
Have the kids paint a few spots on the paper plate. Allow the paint to dry.
Cut out a ear shape out of white paper. Either paint a part of it black or use black construction paper.
If using construction paper, glue the inner and the outer ear together with glue.
Repeat the process and create the other ear, too.
Glue both ears to the back of the cow’s head.
Cut out an oval shape from light pink paper for the cow’s nose and glue it in place.
Create two horns – cut two horn shapes out of yellow or similar colored construction paper and glue them onto the back of the paper plate.
It’s drawing time!
Have kids draw two nostrils and a smiling face to the cow’s nose.
Glue two large googly eyes above the nose, bringing the paper plate cow to life! If you don’t have googly eyes, you can also cut out two circles out of white paper and draw black spots inside.
This adorable farm animal is waiting to get more paper plate craft friends.
Have fun crafting!
