How to Make the Easy Folded Paper Bat Craft

What you need:

  • colored paper (black and yellow are great)
  • scissors
  • glue
  • googly eyes (optional)

Step by Step Tutorial

Start by folding the black paper (it can be square or rectangle) from one end all the way to the other making valley and mountain folds.

Keep on folding across the sheet making a paper accordion or paper fan.

While one folded paper is cool, two (or more) will be more fun.

So repeat the process with another sheet of paper.

Once done, pinch or fold them in half so that you get a “bow” shape.

Tie it together with string, glue it together with a paper strip or stape it together with a stapler.

Cut out a bat head, it can simply be a round shape or it can have pointy ears. Cut triangle teeth out of white paper or paint them with a chalk marker. Add googly eyes.

Glue the head on the bow shaped folded black paper.

Cut a large circle from yellow or white paper (for the moon) and glue it on a darker paper background.

Apply glue on the back of the bats (white school glue is best) and stick them on the moon.

All done!

Your Easy Folded Paper Bat Craft is complete.
