How to Make the Crocodile Handprint Art
What you need:
- white paper (or cardstock)
- pencil
- black marker
- crayons or markers (different shades of green)
Step by Step Tutorial
Prepare a piece of white cardstock or paper and lay it horizontally.

Have kids spread out their middle and index finger, bend the pinky and ring finger, and leave the thumb beside the index finger.
Trace the handprint and wrist with a pencil.

Draw two big eyes on the crocodile’s head.

Add sharp triangle teeth and a nostril.

Draw the crocodile’s spiky, pointy skin along its back.

Outline the entire crocodile with a black marker.

Color the crocodile green.

Use a different shade of green to color the spiky skin and add texture with another green shade.

All done. Your little crocodile is ready to snap and play!

Display your handprint crocodile on the wall, make a whole river of crocodiles, or use it in jungle-themed art projects.

It’s a creative way to have fun!

Enjoy crafting your crocodiles!
