This project requires little materials, and it is an easy-peasy one to make.
A few simple steps to follow, and you can finish the day satisfied. When you see the project standing on the table, you know that it is all good. At least, that is how it is for us because we love crafting.
So guys, if you like to do this project with us, jump right in, and let’s start!
How to Make a 3D Paper Zebra Craft
What you need:
- purple color paper
- white paper
- black marker
- scissors
- googly eyes
- glue
- ruler
- compass
Step by Step Tutorial
The Carpet
Take the compass and draw a circle with an 11 cm diameter on the violet color paper.
Then cut the circle out using scissors. This circle would be a carpet for our zebra to sit on.
Draw a smaller circle (with a 9 cm diameter) inside the first one.
Make some 1 cm long fringes on the carpet as shown.
Make sure you do not cut more than the line marked.
The Zebra
Now take the white paper.
And cut out a 4 cm wide and 12 cm long strip.
Draw eight black lines on the strip. Use the black marker and the ruler.
It should look like in the picture.
Form a cylinder and glue the overlapping ends.
Take the cylinder (the zebra’s body) and glue it in the center of the carpet.
Cut out four white strips, 6 mm wide and 3 cm long each.
Those would be the legs of our zebra.
Draw four hoofs and cover the rest of the legs in strips.
Glue the legs on the zebra’s body as shown.
On the white paper, draw a zebra’s head with some hair (the mane).
Cut out the head using scissors.
Glue the googly eyes on the head.
Cut out a small piece of paper and fold it to form an L shape.
Glue one end of it on the zebra’s body.
Glue the head on the other end of it.
All done!
We hope you like your new zebra friend.
Isn’t it cute?
You can make a whole dazzle of zebras with different carpet colors.
