Making this summer papercraft will only take 30-40 minutes. By the time you cut everything out, you will be making an umbrella and sun in no time.
Start by folding a white piece of paper in half.
Cut out waves from blue pieces of paper. You will want to have waves of various colors.
Start layering and gluing the waves onto the white piece of paper.
You can do a light blue and then a dark blue for a fun contrast of colors.
Create a sand-type effect my using a yellow/tan piece of construction paper at the bottom.
You will also want to cut out the sun!
If you cut out several circles, you can give the sun a 3-D effect.
Glue the sun, as shown in the picture below.
Cut out a long stem for the umbrella.
Cut out the umbrella using the color of your choice and then glue it down to the paper.
Go ahead and glue down the first layer of the umbrella.
Take another color and glue it down as shown.
This gives the umbrella a 3-D effect that is so fun.
