When it’s cold outside, mittens are a must!
This mittens paper card is a great way to help your child create a special card or gift to hand out to friends or family members.
Check out this tutorial and learn how to make the paper card for all the fantastic people in your life.
Plus, there is even room to write a little “note” to the person receiving the card.
How to Make the Mittens Paper Card
What you need:
- template
- red and white paper
- scissors
- pencil
- black marker
- zig-zag scissors
- glue stick
- cotton balls
- snowflake decor
Step by Step Tutorial
Start creating these mittens by cutting out the template.
Once you cut out the template for the mittens, you can trace the template onto red paper.
Fold it in half.
Take a strip of white paper and use the zig-zag scissors to start cutting off strips.
Place glue on the top of the red mittens.
Place cotton balls (spread out) onto the top of the red mittens.
Now you can start decorating the mittens however you’d like.
Cut off the excess paper.
Take the time to help your child write holiday wishes on the inside of the mittens.
Add extra snowflakes to the inside of the mittens.
