How to Draw Alligator Step by Step

What you need:

• pencil or black marker
• paper

Step by Step Alligator Drawing Instructions

Step 1

Start with the mouth, a simple V shape is all that it takes.

Step 2

Draw rows of teeth inside the V shape. Also, draw a pair of eyes.

Step 3

Now comes the snout, start from the right side, draw a heart like shape for the nostrils and a curved line all the way to the eyes.

Step 4

Next, lets add some details. Draw two ellipses or circles inside the heart shape to make the nose. A couple of lines to make the ridges on the snout.

Complete the head with the bottom jaw.

Step 5

Draw one pair of legs next.

Step 6

A wavy line on top, start from the eyes and draw it until it goes just a little further than the hind leg.

Draw the belly line as well.

Step 7

Another pair of legs is next. We’re almost done!

Step 8

Start from the wavy line and draw a curve for the tail. You can start the second curvcve for the tail from the belly.

Step 9

Add a few details on the back and you are done.
