How to Make the Halloween Clothespin Puppets
What you need:
- our printable puppet template
- clothespin
- printer and paper
- glue
- scissors
- coloring supplies for the black and white version
Step-by-Step Tutorial
Print out the Halloween puppets template.
We recommend you use heavier print paper or cardstock to make them more durable, especially if you are printing the black and white version for kids to color in.
Alternatively, you can also laminate the puppets before attaching them to the clothespin. This way they will be evevn more durable – however you will need to use hot glue instead of regular glue to make it work.
For the black-and-white version, we recommend coloring the characters first. It’s easier to color them before they are cut out.
Cut out the characters by cutting along the character outlines.
You also need to cut along the mouth line (marked on the puppets).
Apply glue to the clothespin. If you are working with wooden clothespins, a regular glue stick glue is enough to do the job.
Stick the puppet parts on the clothespin.
All done!
