How to Make the Fish Handprint Art
What you need:
- white paper square (paper or cardstock)
- pencil
- black marker
- colored markers or crayons
Step by Step Tutorial
Begin with a white square piece of paper.
Have kids trace their hand with a pencil.
Complete the shape.
Use a black marker to trace the outline carefully.
Flip the handprint sideways so the thumb is at the bottom and draw the fish’s mouth!
Draw a curved line to separate the fish’s head.
Add an eye to bring the fish to life.
Start drawing small scales along the fish’s head line.
Sketch a little fin on the upper side and draw a few floating bubbles.
Let kids color their fish using bright and vivid shades. We used a yellow marker.
Color in the scales, the fin, and the fish’s mouth for extra detail.
Fill the bubbles with blue!
