How to Make the Paper Plate Ladybug Craft
What You Need:
- scissors
- glue stick
- paper plate
- paint (red and black)
- red colored paper
- paintbrush
- two googly eyes
Step by Step Tutorial
You will need one paper plate to make one ladybug craft.
Paint the paper plate red. You can leave the top part blank to save on paint, or just paint it all, as it will be covered with black paint later on anyway.
Have the kids paint the top part black and add a line from the head to the bottom, making the wings.
Let the paint dry.
Paint the dots (a round sponge brush works really great for this).
Once dry, have children cut out two red circles from red colored paper and glue them on.
Then, attach two googly eyes.
Lastly, have them add a happy, red smile line to complete their ladybug craft
You can also add legs and antennae made out of construction paper if you want.
Simple and sweet.
Have fun crafting!
