We absolutely love fall crafts! It’s one of the best seasons as you can really get crafty with forest animals – like this construction paper owl craft for example.
Who loves owls? We do! Such a fun bird although it can be very loud at just the wrong times (when you are trying to sleep and it decides to do it’s whoo whoo’s right next to the open window – but still a cutie pie nonetheless).
We also do love super easy construction paper crafts, as this is after all one of kids favorite (and teacher favorite) crafting materials out there.
This craft idea has lots of cutting and gluing so it really will make a good fine motor and scissor skill practice for your little ones, plus it’s fun.
Let’s make a Construction Paper Owl
What you need:
- black marker
- pencil or crayon for hand tracing
- circle paper punch (kids will love punching circles)
Colorful construction paper, pick any colors you like! These are the colors we went with:
- brown construction paper for the body
- orange construction paper for the wings
- pink and purple construction paper for the feathers
- white paper for eyes
- yellow paper for beak
Any other decorating material you might think of.
