How to Make the Animals Holding Hearts Art
What you need:
- printable art templates
- colored paper or white paper coloring materials (watercolor, paint sticks, oil pastels, crayons, or torn paper collage)
- scissors
- glue stick
Step by Step Tutorial
Start by having your kids create the perfect background! Use colored cardstock for a quick option (great for preschool or when you are short on time), or get creative with watercolors, paint sticks, or sponge dabbing.
Students can use one of the templates provided or follow the guided drawing tutorial to create their own cat or bear.
Time to add some color! Have them color each part with paint sticks, crayons, or markers, whatever they love most!
Have the kids carefully cut out all the animal parts along lines.
Glue the main animal body onto the background.
Fold each paw along the bold line and apply glue to the marked area.
Attach the arms to the sides of the body.
Then glue the heart into those adorable paws.
The animal is ready to share the love!
