Apply some glue at the end of the cardboard. Press firmly with your fingers until the glue is set.
Cut out the excess paper.
Head
Take the second toilet paper roll and cut 1/3 of it using scissors.
This is how the roll should look like. Save the smaller part for later.
Put some glue over the second toilet paper roll and wrap the roll in white cardboard.
Apply some glue at the end of the cardboard and press firmly with your fingers until the glue is set.
Cut the excess paper out.
Neck
Cut the smaller piece so you get a stripe as shown on the picture. Cut the stripe in half.
Put some glue and roll the stripe and press with your fingers until the glue is set.
This is how it should look like.
Wrap the small piece in white cardboard and cut the excess paper.
Apply some glue and press with the fingers until it dries.
This is how it should look like.
Take the three rolls (body, head, and neck) and mark them with stripes using a pencil.
Color some of the stripes in black, and leave the other stripes empty.
Tongue
Take the rest of the toilet paper roll and cut out a tongue. Paint it with pink acrylic color and let it dry aside.
Nose
Cut out two small circles out of the white cardboard.
Place them on the zebra’s face as a nose.
Eyes
Glue the googly eyes on the face as shown on the picture.
Glue the tongue on.
Legs
Take one black and one white chenille stick, cut them in three equal parts and swirl them. Repeat this with two more sticks.
You should have four legs by now.
Tail
Take one black chenille stick, bend it in half and start swirling the ends.
Leave an “O” shape at the end. This is the tail.
Apply the legs using hot glue.
Here we have the body standing. See, we made four feet by twisting the edges of the sticks.
Attach the tail on using hot glue.
Glue the neck on the body.
Attach the head on the neck using hot glue.
Mane
Take one chenille stick and bend it in half.
Glue the chenille stick starting from the end of the head towards the body as shown on the picture.
Take another chenille stick, fold it in triangles and attach it at the end of the head and on the body.
All done!
