Who doesn’t love a craft that moves – print out the template for our simple movable Halloween crafts and have your kids make a spider, a bat and a cool looking cat! Each of these have movable elements, flapping wings, moving head or tail or legs.
These make a great Halloween classroom craft or for a fun afterschool project at home. They will be handy at a Halloween party for kids as well.
Just look at how cool they are! With the bat, the wings can be moved to make the bat fly and so can the head.
The cat will wiggle its tail. Once done with this craft why not also color in some of our super fun Halloween coloring pages?
And the spider will move all of its legs as well as its head.
How to Make the Simple Movable Halloween Crafts
What you need:
- our printable template
- coloring supplies if printing the black and white version
- split pins / paper bras
- hole puncher or another tool to make the holes in the paper for the bras
Step by Step Tutorial
If you printed the black and white version of our simple movable Halloween crafts, the first thing to do is to color in all the parts of the craft.
Next cut them out.
Punch holes where needed. If you want to simplify the crafts you can also glue some parts (like the head of the bat or spider).
Align the holes and push the split pin through.
Repeat with all holes and split pins.
All done! You’ve made one of our simple movable Halloween crafts.
Now onto the next one, they all assemble in a similar manner.
The cat only has once movable part, so it’s perfect for younger kids.
