When it comes to Thanksgiving, we think turkey crafts are some of the most fun ones for kids to make. It’s such a goofy animal.
How to Make the Printable Turkey Corner Bookmark
What you need:
- our printable template
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies if making the color in version
Step by Step Tutorial
We recommend printing this on cardstock, however it works well with regular print paper as well.
Have the kids color in the template if you printed the black and white one. Once ready, cut out the turkey corner bookmark printout.
There’s a bold diagonal line marked on the turkey bookmark, have the kids cut along that line.
Make sure they don’t cut across the whole diagonal, just the bold line.
The next step is all about folding. Make folds along all the dashed lines (two of them).
Now it’s time to make the bookmark. Just fold it all around, naturally following the flow of the folds you made along the dashed lines.
Press down firmly to make the folds neat.
Apply glue on the triangular area marked with the word glue.
Press down the last flap and hold in place for a little bit for the glue to set.
All done! Your printable turkey corner bookmark is ready to meet it’s book.
