How to Make the Printable Fairy Tale Finger Puppets
What you need:
- our printable template
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies (optional)
Step by Step Instructions
Print your favorite fairy tale template and let your little ones’ creativity shine by coloring their characters!
Time to grab your scissors and carefully cut out the fairy tale puppet template.
Have kids follow the dashed line and cut out the paper straps too.
Have kids create the first fold at the top of the puppet’s mouth.
Next, fold the bottom dashed line under the puppet’s mouth.
Bring the top and bottom parts of the mouth together for the final fold.
Ensure the mouth folds inward so your puppet can “speak” when you move its jaws.
Fold the first paper strap along the dashed lines to create handy finger holds.
Apply glue to the marked area and attach the strap to the back of the mouth part.
Repeat with the second strap and glue it to the bottom part of the mouth on the back of the puppet.
Congratulations! Your magical fairy tale puppet is ready for imaginative play and storytelling adventures.
