How to Make the Pom Pom Christmas Tree Craft
What you need:
- printable template
- scissors
- glue
- green construction paper
- white paint
- sponge dabber
- colorful pompoms
Step by Step Tutorial
Start with a sheet of construction paper. We think green works best for this project, but any other color will do just fine.

Print out a Christmas tree template (whichever you like most) on plain white paper.
If you don’t have a printer, help your kids draw and cut out a tree shape!

Have them carefully cut out the tree template and place it on the green paper.

This is where the magic begins! Grab the white paint and a sponge dabber. No sponge dabber at hand? Let the kids use fingers!
Let your kids start dabbing the paint around the edge.

Have them dab all around the cut-out to create a snowy outline.

Carefully remove the tree template from the green paper to reveal tree outline.
So satisfying!

Look at that perfect tree shape!
The white paint gives it a cool, snowy effect.
Now let it dry a bit.

Time to decorate!
Have your kids glue colorful pompoms all over the tree to act as ornaments.

You can also use paper rolled into little balls.

And there you have it!

A bright, festive pom pom Christmas tree that’s as fun to make as it is to display.

Enjoy crafting!
