How to Make the Paper Plate Dinosaur
What you need:
- printable template (optional)
- paper plate
- pencil
- scissors
- glue stick
- color paper (green and blue)
- blue acrylic paint
- markers (black and blue)
- paintbrush
- googly eyes
Step by Step Tutorial
Cut the paper plate in half.
Paint half of the paper plate with blue paint.
Cut out the template.
Take the time to draw around the head, legs, and tail on blue paper.
Draw around the bonny plates on green paper.
You can trace five smaller plates instead of just three.
Glue the moving eyes onto the face.
Draw mouth and nose with black marker.
With a blue marker, we will now draw the dots onto the stegosaurus’s back.
Draw nails on its feet with black marker.
Glue the neck of the dinosaur onto the body.
Glue the legs onto the dino’s body.
Next, you’ll want to glue the dino’s tail.
The tail is what makes the dinosaur look so big and strong!
Don’t forget to glue the scales onto the paper plate body.
This paper-plate dinosaur is ready to explore the forest and mountains!
Feel free to use various colors to design the dino however you’d like!
