DIY Newspaper Ghost Craft

How to Make the Newspaper Ghosts Craft

What you need:

  • scissors
  • glue
  • newspaper, old utility bills, or old damaged books
  • cardstock (black)
  • markers (black and pink)

Step by Step Tutorial

Begin by preparing a black cardstock as the base for the newspaper ghosts craft.

Step 1

Cut out squares from old newspapers, utility bills, damaged books or similar.

Step 2

Using a black marker, have them draw a ghost shape on each square.

Step 3

We’ve drawn two simple ghost shapes.

Step 4

Now, have kids carefully cut out the ghost shapes they’ve drawn.

Step 5

Then, glue the ghost shapes onto the black cardstock.

Step 6

Have kids draw eyes and a mouth on each ghost shape using a black marker.

Step 7

They can draw the ghost faces however they wish! The ghost can be spooky, friendly or show off any other expression.

Step 8

After the eyes and mouth are done, have them add pink circles to the ghost, making cute cheeks.

Step 9

All done!
