You can make this one either cute, or scary – draw the fans or scratch them off completely and rather draw one big happy grin. Make a pair of eyes or the scary looking set of 8 – either way it’s a pretty simple tutorial to follow.

How to Draw a Spider Tutorial

What you need:

• pencil or marker
• our printable spider drawing guide
• paper
• coloring supplies (optional)

Step by Step Spider Drawing Instructions

Step 1

Start by drawing a big circle for the spider body. The circle doesn’t have to be perfect – in fact oval shape will work out great just as well.

Step 2

Draw a “wide U” shape under the circle. This will make the spider’s head.

Step 3

A set of eyes and fangs if you are going for the scary spider.

Step 4

Next come the legs. Draw the first pair.

Step 5

Then the second.

Step 6

And repeat on the other side.

If you want your spider hanging from the web, also draw a straight line from it’s “but”.

Color your spider. This step is completely optional but makes all the difference.
