How to Draw a Santa Step by Step
What you need:
- our printable drawing guide (optional)
- pencil or black marker
- paper
Step by Step Santa Claus Drawing Instructions
Step 1
We’ll start this Santa drawing by drawing a small round shape for the nose.
Step 2
Next draw a pair of moustache.
Step 3
Complete the face by drawing an arch from the tip of one mustache to the tip of the next one. Make another arch on the outside of the first one – this will make the fluffy part of the Santa’s head.
Also draw a small U shape under the nose, to make the mouth.
Step 4
Continue drawing the hat, start by drawing the curve on one side (on the right side) and then from the other side (left side) start drawing the shape for the hat.
Draw two dots for the eyes and two lines above for the eyebrows.
The beard comes next, you can simply make an U shape from one end to the other or you can make a wavy beard.
Step 5
Finish up the hat by drawing a circle shape at the tip.
Draw two curved lines from the beard to start drawing Santa’s clothes.
Step 6
Connect the two lines with a curved line. Draw a fluffy line under it to make the fluffy white part of the coat.
Draw two shapes for the sleeves.
Step 7
Draw oval shapes on the end of the sleeves (this is the white fluffy lining).
Also draw two shapes for the trousers.
Step 8
Draw mittens. Next, draw the boots.
Two curved lines will make the belt.
Step 9
Add a belt buckle and lines to complete the Santa’s coat.
Step 10
All done you have learned how to draw a Santa Claus.
Now all there’s left to do is to color in your Santa drawing.
