How to Draw a Dragonfly Step by Step
What you need:
- our printable drawing guide (optional)
- pencil or black marker
- paper
Step by Step Dragonfly Drawing Instructions
Step 1
Start by drawing a dragonfly’s head. A simple round or oval shape to get things started.
Step 2
Next, draw an oval shape bellow the head. This will make the first section of the dragonfly’s body.
Step 3
Let’s finish up the body – draw a nother long, slightly rounded shape for the body.
Step 4
Add the details to the head and body. Draw two lines for the eyes on the head and a few lines on the body.
Step 5
Draw the first (upper) pair of wings.
Step 6
And now the second pair of wings.
Step 7
Draw a line across each of the wings.
Step 8
Add more details to wings.
Step 9
This one is optional: draw legs.
Step 10
