How to Make the Easy Hot Glue Tin Foil Fish Craft
What you need:
- piece of cardboard
- pencil
- hot glue gun (adult use)
- aluminum foil (tin foil)
- permanent markers (yellow, orange, red, green, and blue)
- white paint marker
Step by Step Tutorial
Prepare a piece of cardboard and draw a fish sketch with a pencil.

Carefully trace all the pencil lines with hot glue.

Let it dry completely; it won’t take long.

Lay a piece of aluminum foil over the cardboard and gently press with your fingers to feel the embossed hot glue lines underneath.

Carefully press along the outline of the fish to emphasize the shape.

Take your time.

Fold the foil edges to the back side of the cardboard to secure it.

Grab permanent markers and start coloring the fish, beginning with the head.
Try bright shades like yellow.

Let kids color the body and fins in any colors they love for a fun, personalized fish.

Don’t forget to color the background for a complete underwater scene.

Use a white paint marker to add a shiny eye to your fish.

All done!

Step back and admire your sparkling tin foil fish.
