This disguise a turkey as a princess printout can be used to make a cool princess outfit.
If your kids are fans of some of the more popular princesses such as Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Snowhite, Aurora, or even Elsa, they can use the printouts and their imagination to make the princess disguise look like their favorite princess. All they need to do is use the colors that fit their favorite princess or draw additional details on their own.
How to Assemble Our Disguise a Turkey as a Princess Printable Template
What you need
- our printable template (you can grab the princess disguise printout near the end or you can get the whole set with over 25 outfits)
- coloring supplies
- scissors
- glue
You can use regular print paper for this project. Heavier print paper or cardstock is a great choice as well.
Step by Step Tutorial
You will need a printout of a turkey, and a background turkey (either with the text, I am not a turkey, I am… or the one that has a rectangle above its head). Also, print the sheet with the princess disguise.
Color in all the template parts. Color the accessories and cut them out.
Also, color the sheet with just the turkey. This one will be the disguised turkey, so have the kids think about which colors to use to make the princess disguise for their turkey. The tail feathers can be colored green to resemble a bush or maybe yellow to make a royal throne. The choice is in your kid’s hands.
The body can be colored to look like the turkey, or you can have the kids color it in a skin tone (smart turkeys use powder to disguise themselves).
Apply a small amount of glue (glue stick is best) on the dress and press it on the turkey’s body.
Already looking royal!
Do the same with the hair and the crown.
Take the last sheet and color the turkey on it with natural colors.
Fold along the dashed line and apply glue on the folded part, just in the middle.
Take the turkey disguised as a princess and press it on the glue. Align it with the turkey in the back.
Now this turkey can put his or her princess disguise on and off whenever it needs to. This one pairs well with our printable unicorn turkey disguise.
