Two chicks and two bunnies are ready to play! These cool puppets are made in no time so are a perfect activity for those “I’m bored” days. With Easter just around the corner, this set is just asking to be printed.
All designs come both in black and white print, where kids can color their own puppets however they see fit, as well as pre-colored version that’s ready to go. All of the designs also come as both left facing and right facing, so you can either make multiple puppets or use the two desings on both sides of the clothespin.
Check out one of the designs in action!
Sweet isn’t it?
How to Make Chick and Bunny Clothespin Puppets
What you need:
- our printable template
- clothespin
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies
Step by Step Instructions
Print the templates on heavier print paper / construction paper.
If you printed out the black and white template, have the kids color it in before they start cutting. Crayons, markers or coloring pencils all work great for this project.
Cut out along the puppet outline.
Cut along the mouth line.
Apply a small amount of glue on the gripping area of the clothespin.
We really recommend using wooden clothespins as regular glue’s kids use will work fine. If you are using a plastic clothespin glue dots or glue gun will be necessary.
Stick the puppet parts on the clothespin.
And that’s it!
Your Chick and Bunny Clothespin Puppets are ready to be played with.
