1. We are out of this world bulletin board

This is a great idea that the whole class gets to make together.

Take photos of your students or ask them to bring photos of themselves. Supply the kids with paper plates and have them create a UFO (either by carefully cutting off the edge along half of the plate or by cutting the paper plate in half and sticking a paper circle on the plate).

Let the kids paint and decorate their UFOs and stick their photos inside them. Decorate the board with yellow and golden stars and a sign saying “We are out of this world”.

2. Hands up!

This is one of our favorite bulletin board displays – let the kids paint frames. Also, have them stamp their handprints on construction paper.

Cut out their photos and handprints and stick them on the painted frames. Beyond sweet!

3. All Hands on Deck Bulletin Board Idea

This is yet another bulletin board idea where the whole class can participate. Have your students trace around their hands to make an outline (using white construction paper is best). Let them color in the hand outlines, as colorful as they wish them to be (markers are great for this, but any technique will do).

Cut out the hand outlines and add them to the bulletin board along with a motivational quote.

6. Learning Gives You Wings to Fly

Another fun one that gets the whole class involved. Take photos of your students standing up with their hands extended above their heads (making the letter V). Print out their photos and cut the outlines. Let each child color the wings of the butterfly outline (either you print them or, with older kids, have them draw their own) and stick the wings on their cutout.
