How to Make the Apple Stamping Fall Tree Art
What you need:
- printable template
- craft sticks
- paintbrush
- apples
- knife
- cutting board
- washable paints
- paper plates or trays
Step by Step Tutorial
If working with younger kids, you can make little handles on the apples by sticking craft sticks into them. This will make it easier for the small hands to handle the apples.
We’ll use three different colors – orange, red, and green.
Pour a small amount of paint onto a tray or paper plate.
Dip the apples into the paint.
Use our printable tree template or draw your tree trunk shape on cardstock.
Have your kids begin stamping the paper with their paint-dipped apples.
We started with green paint, but kids can use any color.
Add more paint if needed. If the apple isn’t fully covered, you can also use a brush to spread the paint across it.
We continued with orange apple prints.
Keep on stamping.
Stamp some more.
Then, we added some red apple prints for a colorful fall vibe.
Your kids can continue adding prints until they’re happy with their creation.
