We’ll be planting carrots and radishes, but your kids can make other vegetables too!

Your kids will plant your their own carrots and radish right onto the paper beds without any soil or water needed.
How to Make Paper Garden Craft
What you need:
- light blue cardboard
- papers (brown, white, yellow, red, orange, green, and light brown)
- pencil
- black marker
- scissors
Step by Step Tutorial
Cut out the templates.
Cut a wider strip out of the brown paper …
… and glue it to the bottom of the blue cardboard.
Cut a long green strip of the green paper.
Make small incisions with scissors and cut the strip from the beginning to the end.
Glue it over the brown strip.
Draw around the fence board several times on the light brown paper.
Cut it out and glue it up.
Cut thin strips of the light brown paper.
And glue them crosswise to the fence.
Draw around the radish template on the red paper …
… and around the leaf on the green paper.
Cut it out, glue the leaf to the radish head and draw eyes and mouth on it.
Draw around the carrot template on the orange paper …
… and cut the pieces out.
Draw around the leaf on green paper.
Cut them out and zigzag the leaf with scissors.
Glue carrots and leaves together and draw the eyes and mouth on them.
Then glue the radish and carrots to the brown piece of the stipe.
Draw around the sun on the yellow paper, cut it out, and glue it up.
Draw around the clouds and the sun on the white paper, cut it out and glue it up.
All done.
Look how happy these veggies are.
