- brush
- yarn
- scissors

Step by Step Instructions
Making the Baloon
Print the heart shape on the color papers and cut the hearts out.
Print the heart shape with stars and hexagons.
Place one heart on the heart mold and start by adding glue only over the lines marked with a star at the end.
Then continue with adding another heart on top of the first one …

… and apply some glue but this time only on the lines with a hexagon at the end.
Repeat this step, until you have no hearts left (be careful and remember – first, you apply glue only on the star lines, then only on the hexagon lines).
Using your pencil, draw a line in the middle of the heart shape, and then cut that heart shape in two halves.
Put some glue on one of the heart halves and glue them together.
You should come up with a drop-like shape when you finish this step.
Start opening the heart balloon, form a 3-D heart shape and glue the ends of it.
Creating the Basket
Now cut the toilet paper roll in half.
Draw three circle shapes (use the paper roll half) and glue them together so they make a firm bottom for our hot air balloon basket.
Apply some hot glue around the circle shape and glue it to the basket. Let it dry.
Put some red acrylic color on the brush and paint the basket with it. Let the color dry.
Making our Passenger
Take the pencil and form a spiral around it with one chenille stick.
Add some glue on one side of the chenille stick spiral and put the big pom-pom on it. Add the googly eyes.
After that add the pen spirals as if they were horns.
Put some glue on the fluffy pom-pom and place it on top of the big pom-pom.
That is the creature’s hair.
Draw three heart shapes on the red foam sheet, cut them out and place two of them on top of the horns …
… and one as a nose.
Put some glue on the bottom of the chenille stick and glue the creature inside the basket.
Apply some glue all over the basket and wrap it with straws all around.
Cut 4 equal yarn piece, form knots at the ends of each yarn …
… and glue their ends inside the basket first.
Press firmly and let it dry.
Then form a big knot (using all the yarns) …
… and glue that inside the 3D heart shape.
Make a yarn hook, tie two knots at the ends of it…
… and glue it on top of the 3D heart shape.
All done!
Ready to fly, huh?
Go and hang this super awesome balloon on the wall in your room.
You can make plenty of these balloons and give them to your friends as a surprise.
Have fun and stay tuned for more fun crafts!
