This is a perfect little treat to whip up together for Independence day or any other celebration really as you can make this recipe fit any occasion with simple modifications.

Patriotic Strawberry Kool-Aid Pie
Ready to get cooking? You’ll have this one on the table in no time.
What you need
1 ready-made graham cracker crust
1 packet Strawberry Kool-Aid
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract
8 oz tub Cool Whip
Garnish: strawberries, blueberries, whipped topping and patriotic sprinkles
In a medium mixing bowl, add the Kool-Aid packet, strawberry extract and milk. Stir to blend well.
Fold in the Cool Whip and mix until even.
Transfer the mixture into graham cracker crust. Let it chill for at least 2 hours.
Serve with whipped topping and fresh fruit.
To make this delicious little pie “Patriotic”, place a large strawberry in the middle of the pie and arrange blueberries in the shape of a star around it and sprinkle patriotic sprinkles over the whipped topping.
