Time to make a lovely yarn flower craft! This one can be made “just because” or you can turn these into lovely, unique cards to send out. This is a great project to use up the scrap yarn or yarn you got from the dollar store (don’t know about the brand in your dollar store, but the one we got was not the best quality but perfect for crafting, no complaints here since that was the reason we bough it).

Hi, I'm Andreja from Easy Peasy and Fun — and I just wrote a book!
50 paper crafts your kids can actually do themselves
I designed every project so kids can do it themselves — no fancy supplies, just paper, scissors, and a little imagination.
“If you need easy crafts to keep busy, Andreja delivers with this book!”
📚 As an indie author, your pre-order genuinely helps me — it counts toward first-week sales, which is how new books get noticed. Thank you!
Yarn Flower Craft
- yarn in different colors – yellow, green and a color for petals
- white school glue
- blue construction paper
- scissors
- pencil
Cut the blue paper to she size of your choosing, if you will be making a card you can trim it down for it to be a little bit smaller than the card (giving it a nice white border).
Draw flower templates with a pencil.
Apply a generous amount of white school glue in the centre of the flower.
Stick on yellow yarn (in circles). Add glue as you go if necessary.
Continue with flower petals.
Last but not least glue on the stem. All done.
