How to Make the Winter Paper Plate Craft
What you need:
- printable template
- paper plate
- white paper
- scissors
- craft knife
- pencil
- blue acrylic paint
- paintbrush
- glue stick
- white silk ribbon (optional)
Step by Step Tutorial
The Winter Scenery
Gather your supplies; you need a few things to start making this Winter Paper Plate Craft.
Start with your paper plate.
Cut out the inside part as shown in the picture.
Paint the top half of the plate dark blue.
Cut out the template parts with scissors.
You may need to help your kids with this step.
The next part of the paper includes you tracing one house, a deer, and two trees onto paper.
Cut the pieces out.
Trace one moon and five stars, and then cut them out.
Cut out the house windows too, and glue the house and white pine tree on the left side.
Go ahead, and glue another pine tree, a deer, five stars, and the moon.
The Hanger
Cut out a thin strip.
You could skip this step and make a hanger with a silk ribbon.
Make a loop – it can be as short or as long as needed.
Glue the loop to the back as a hanger.
The final winter paper plate craft is ready to be displayed in your home.
