How to Make the Strawberry Painted Rocks

What you need:

  • rocks
  • acrylic paints (red, green, and white) or acrylic pens
  • paintbrush

Step by Step Tutorial

A rounded, slightly triangular-shaped rock works best for a strawberry.

Step 1

Have kids paint the entire rock red and set it aside to dry completely.

Tip: depending on the brand of paint, it can be a good idea to first paint a layer of white.

Step 2

Once dry, use green paint to carefully fill in the top part of the rock to create the strawberry’s leafy crown.

Step 3

Now for the most satisfying step!

Using white paint and a thin brush, have kids dot tiny seeds all over the red part of the rock.

Step 4

Set the rock aside to dry one last time, and that is it, one little strawberry painted rock is completely done!

Step 5

These strawberry painted rocks are so cheerful and bright that they instantly make any space feel more fun and summery!
