Faux Stained Glass Seahorse Suncatcher

What you’ll need

  • Silhouette cutting machine
  • This Seahorse cutting file (a zipped Silhouette Studio File)
  • black construction paper
  • thermal laminator
  • thermal laminating pouch
  • sharpies

No machine ? No worries! You’ll need

  • this Seahorse template
  • either craft knife for the supper patient ones to cut out the template out of black construction paper or a black permanent market to trace it down on see through plastic
  • (if you opt for the craft knife method laminator and laminator pouch are also needed)
  • sharpies

If you’re using the Silhouette machine open the file in Silhouette Studio and let the machine do all the work cutting it (resize if necessary). Carefully remove from the mat (I helped myself with their spatula tool – works like a charm).

Once you’ve got your design ready place it in a laminating pouch and laminate.

Color with Sharpies

Now all that’s left to do is to get creative with the colors! Let it dry a bit and it’s ready to be showcased on your window!
