Fall is a great time of the year to make all kinds of forest animals crafts, squirrels being one of them.
You can make this Squirrel Toilet Paper Roll Craft in natural colors or you can go crazy and make squirrels out of space.
We made a brown, green and red one!

How to Make the Squirrel Toilet Paper Roll Craft
What you need:
- toilet paper roll
- scissors
- glue
- acrylic color of your choice
- color paper (cardstock)
- white cardstock
- black liner
- ruler with circle shapes
- brush
Let’s start!
Step by Step Instructions
Cut out 1/3rd of the toilet paper roll.
Cover the piece in acrylic color.
Cut out one bold color paper stripe.
Start rolling the stripe to form a curl as shown in the picture.
Cut out another stripe. Make this one smaller.
Make two tiny hands and one near a heart-like shape that will serve as legs.
Study the picture carefully.
Draw two big eyes. Use the ruler with circle shapes and the black liner.
Cut out the eye shapes using scissors.
Apply some glue and attach the eyes on the toilet paper roll.
Draw a tiny nose and a mouth with two teeth sticking out.
Put some glue on the hands and the legs and add them to the body.
Cut out two ears and glue them on the head.
Take the curled stripe, cut the excess and then fold a triangle as shown in the picture.
That would be the tail.
Glue the tail to the body.
Paint the ears with the same acrylic color you used for the body.
All done!
