How to Make the Printable Monster Finger Puppets
What you need:
- our printable template
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies (optional)
Step by Step Instructions
Print out the template. Both pre-colored and black and white templates are included.
If your kids will be making a black and white one, have them color in the puppets first.
Have kids carefully cut along the dashed lines along the puppet. Also have them cut out the two paper straps from the page.
Then, fold along the puppet’s mouth (there’s a dashed line indicating where you should make a fold).
Make another fold at the bottom of the mouth.
Bring the lower mouth and head parts together to create the mouth crease.
Fold it nicely.
Grab the paper strap and fold it along the lines.
Let’s start assembling your puppet together!
Grab the first paper strip, add some glue, and stick it onto your puppet. Make sure you leave enough space for the fingers.
You’re on your way to creating a fantastic finger friend!
Repeat the process with the other paper strip and glue it to the puppet site side of the puppet’s mouth.
Hold together for a little while for the glue to set.
All done!
