They provide great exercise for the brain and help us develop and nourish our motor skills, hand-eye coordination skills, and problem-solving skills.
They also help us regulate our breathing.
When we assemble a puzzle, we develop slow breathing patterns.
We learn to have more patience and we learn to reduce stress levels by going with our own pace.
Today’s puzzle is a chameleon one.
Who doesn’t love chameleons?
Chameleons are weird creatures, right?
They have the ability to change colors and their eyes can swivel around in two different directions simultaneously.
How cool is that? Plus, they have these very long tongues that are super sticky and they use them for hunting flies.
We have seen some people keeping them as pets, though they need special and proper care to thrive.
Tricky creatures, huh?
So, we are super excited to print out the puzzle pieces and start assembling this puzzle together with you.
Printable Chameleon Puzzle
What you need:
- scissors
- laminator
- glue dots
- color pencils (if you use the black and white version)
Let’s start!
Step by Step Instructions
Print out our chameleon printables, laminate them and cut out the puzzle pieces.
If you use the black and white version, color the puzzle with color pencils before you laminate it.
Use the chameleon picture for guidance.
Mix the pieces and start connecting them together.
Take your time and go with your own pace.
All done!
