Pom Pom Heart Valentine’s Day Card

Making adorable Valentine’s cards is a huge part of Valentine’s Day crafts for kids, you can even make cute heart shape animal cards with your little ones.

How to Make the Pom Pom Heart Valentine’s Day Card

What you need:

• pencil
• scissors
• glue stick
• white cardstock
• pink color paper
• pom-poms (different colors)
• black marker

Step by Step Tutorial

To start off this project you need a sheet of white construction paper, or optional printable hearts outlines.

And fold it in half to create a card.

Next, you need a smaller piece of paper (in pink or other color) – it should be smaller than the card.

Fold it in half.

It’s time to create a heart – have kids draw half of the heart shape – ensure the folded part is where the center of the heart shape would be.

Have the kids cut out the heart shape.

Then, glue the heart shape onto the white paper card.

Have them apply glue along the heart shape outline and start sticking different-colored pom poms. They can also apply the glue on the pom poms.

All the way around.

Next, draw the eyes and a smile with a black marker.

If they want, they can glue on two pink pom-poms as cheeks to make this heart V-day card even prettier.
