How to Make Paper Circle Hen and Chick Craft – Easter Card Idea
What you need:
- card base (we think green works great)
- yellow construction paper for chick
- white construction paper for hen
- red paper
- orange paper
- black marker
- optional: jumbo and medium paper circle punches
Step by Step Tutorial
Start by punching or cutting two circles. A smaller yellow one, and a larger white one.
We’ll start with the yellow circle (chick). Cut into the circle, cutting one slit to the middle of the circle.
Fold one of the quarters of the circle (next to the slit) towards the bottom (see image below).
If you want the chick and chicken looking at each other, fold the opposite quarter down.
Stick the circle chick and circle chicken on the card base.
Cut two small triangles from the orange paper and glue them on the chick and the chicken as shown on the image bellow.
Also cut a crown out of red construction paper and stick it on the hen’s head.
With a black marker, draw an eye on the chick and the hen (you could also use small googly eyes).
