How to Make Owl 3D Coloring Page CraftWhat you need:
- printable template
- optional coloring supplies
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the template. You can use regular printer paper for this craft, and it will work out well, or you can use heavier print paper/cardstock for more durability – especially if your kids will be coloring in the black and white template with watercolors or similar coloring supplies.
If you printed the black and white owl craft template, have the kids color it in before they cut out the template parts.
Once colored, or if you printed the pre-colored craft template, cut out the craft template.
Cutting around the frame on the background (the sheet with the owl) is optional.
The hardest part of this template is cutting out the hole in the tree – instruct your kids to poke a hole in the middle of the hole in the tree and work their way with scissors from there.
Next, fold along the dashed lines along the tree trunk.
Make the folds nice and crisp.
Apply glue on the folds (in the white area with the word glue on it).
Stick the tree trunk on the background.
Press it for a little while for the glue to set and you are all done.
The adorable 3D owl coloring page craft is complete and ready for hanging. It makes for the most wonderful fall bulletin board decoration.
