What you need:
- printable template (optional)
- pencil
- eraser
- markers (in various colors)
- art paper
- black marker
Step by Step Tutorial
Any paper will do for this project, however we do recomend heavier print paper or cardstock to prevent marker bleed.
Using your pencil, draw a few wavy lines near the bottom of the paper for lower hills.
Add two straight lines above the hills for the background landscape.
Sketch two mountain shapes behind the straight lines.
Draw a circle for the sun above the mountains.
Add some sun rays around the sun, touching the mountains.
Use a thinck black marker to trace over all your pencil lines.
Erase the pencil lines after outlining.
Time to start drwaing the lines.
Draw more parallel lines.
Switch to the darker green marker, and repeat for the hills behind.
With the blue marker, draw horizontal lines between the hills to make a lake or a river.
Grab the gray marker and draw along the black marker lines to fill in the mountains.
Finish both mountain shapes.
Use the orange marker to add lines following the sun ray shapes.
Create the sun by drawing circle shapes, starting with the largest circle and finishing with the smallest circle in the center.
Use the yellow marker to fill in rest of the sun rays.
