This idea was inspired by these adorable LEGO pumpkin treat bags and as we’re in the back to school feel an apple was in order!
So what you need to make these cute little things?
- red LEGO bricks
- cellophane wrap (or even better treat bags)
- green paper
- wool thread (or any other kind of thick thread)
I used a letter sized sheet of cellophane wrap and used two handfuls of various red LEGO bricks, checking if the amount would make a round shape (I’d imagine this being way easier if you use round treat bags). Make sure all the bricks are in the middle of the wrap sheet – we can now close it. Bring the cellophane up and over the bricks (all 4 corners) and wrap around the wool thread just above the bricks – cut off any extra cellophane to make a nice enough shape.
Cut a leaf shape out of the green paper and attach it to your LEGO brick apple.
