Making your own puppet sure feels great. This ladybug puppet can be made with our printable template, that you can find at the end of this tutorial, or without. It’s really easy peasy.
How to Make a Ladybug Puppet
- our printable template
- coloring supplies
- scissors
- glue
Or:
- black paper
- red paper
- scissors
- glue
- googly eyes or wiggle eyes stickers
Step by step instructions
Print out the template. First thing to do is to color in the template.
If you aren’t using our template, the steps are the same you just need to make the body our of black paper and the wings out of red.
Also color a pair of wings.
Cut out the wings.
Fold the puppet body part – follow the dashed lines on the template.
Apply glue across the side that says glue.
Press the other end on the part with the glue.
Fold in half, with the colored side on the inside.
Fold along the dashed lines – a M shape will form.
Glue on a pair of wings.
And you are done.
Your Ladybug Puppet is ready for play.
