How to Draw a Jack O’Lantern
What you need:
- our printable template (optional)
- pencil or a black marker
- coloring supplies
- paper
Step by Step Jack O’Lantern Drawing Instructions
Step 1
Start drawing the outer edges of the pumpkin – a letter C and only the curvy part of the letter D.
Step 2
Next make 3 arches connecting the top end points of the curved shapes (it’s OK if you make only two or if you make more). Also make 3 inverted arches connecting the bottom endpoints of the curved shapes.
Step 3
Draw the mouth for your Jack o’lantern. Cute, scary, simple or complex. However you want them.
Step 4
Next come the eyes and nose. Triangles are the simplest but as with mouth – you can make any shape you see fit.
Step 5
Color in the mouth, nose and eyes with black color.
Step 6
Next come the lines on the pumpkin.
Step 7
Almost there.
Step 8
A few more arches in the back.
Step 9
And the last detail.
All done, you have learned how to draw a Jack O’Lantern!
