How to Draw a Bear Step by Step
Fall is the perfect time to try your hand at drawing forest animals, once you are done with this one why not also give drawing a wolf a go or even learning how to draw a fox. While at it, drawing an owl is super easy as well.
What you need:
- our printable drawing guide (optional)
- pencil or black marker
- paper
Step by Step Bear Drawing Instructions
Step 1
Start by drawing a boxy oval shape for the head. It doesn’t have to be perfect at all!
Step 2
Next, draw the outer lines for the ears and the line for the snout. The head is already coming along nicely.
Step 3
Finish up the ears and draw ovals for eyes and nose.
Step 4
Finish up the head. Draw the mouth, the circles in the eyes and eyebrows. The head of the bear is done.
Step 5
Continue by drawing a curved line for the back.
Step 6
Draw two legs.
Step 7
Starting from the head, draw a curved line to the front leg. Continue the line from the front leg to the hind one to complete the belly.
Step 8
Draw another set of legs.
Step 9
Complete your drawing with the tail and by drawing the claws on the bear’s legs. All done! You’ve learnt how to draw a bear!
Step 10
Last but not least in your drawing a bear adventure is to color in your drawing.
