With just a few simple items, you can make a beautiful portrait on display!
How to Make the Flower Field Spring Paper Collage
What you need:
- color papers (blue, green, yellow, white, pink, and red)
- scissors
- pencil
- glue stick
- flower shaped paper punch
- markers (black and pink)
Step by Step Tutorial
Use your scissors to cut a straight line through your green paper.
This will be our field.
Glue the green rectangular cutout on top of your blue paper.
Grab your pencil and begin drawing clouds on your white paper, then cut them out.
Cut thin strips from your yellow paper using your scissors.
Cut the yellow strips into even smaller rectangular pieces.
You’ll use these strips as the sun’s rays in your picture.
Draw a circle for the sun with your pencil on the yellow paper and cut it out.
Glue your sun at the top corner of the blue paper.
Glue the strips around the circle to create your sun.
Cut off any excess strips from the side of your picture.
Glue the clouds on the blue paper next to the sun.
Use markers to add features to your sun, including eyelashes and blush for the cheeks.
With a paper punch, punch out a bunch of small flowers.
If you don’t have a flower shaped paper punch, you can also cut flower shapes out of paper.
Paste the flowers on top of the green paper attached to your image.
A dab of glue on the back of each flower is all you need.
You can bend their petals a bit to create the 3D effect.
You’ll have a nice, bright picture worth hanging on the wall, fridge, or anywhere else.
What a beautiful sight!
